Using the Job Search Feature: A Comprehensive Guide

Finding the right job on SwapLance starts with using our job search feature effectively. This guide will walk you through how to find and apply for jobs that match your skills and interests.

Navigating the Job Search Interface

  • To start your search, navigate to the «Orders» section. Here, you'll find a flexible search bar for a more targeted search.
  • Orders are sorted from oldest to newest, providing you with a wide range of options.

Using Filters

Our platform offers several filters to streamline your search:

  1. Term: Filter orders by volume — short-term, mid-term, or regular contracts.
  2. Specialization: Match jobs to your skills and area of expertise.
  3. Price: Find jobs that meet your desired pay rate.

Understanding Job Listings

Each job listing contains key details:

  • Author's name and rating
  • Title and description of the project
  • Project scope and budget
  • Required skills
  • Contacts of the client (may not be specified)
  • Deadline for bids
  • Proposals from other freelancers (bets)

Freelancers with PRO status can hide their bids from competitors, making them visible only to the client.

Receiving Job Alerts

Freelancers receive email updates about the latest orders. PRO status holders receive the first newsletters about new orders. For added convenience, enable notifications in Telegram.

Applying for Jobs

Once you find a job that interests you, indicate your proposed budget and timeline. Add a persuasive description to pique the client's interest. You can also upload files or add works from your SwapLance portfolio. The client may comment on your proposal, providing an opportunity for initial negotiations. Respond as quickly as possible to stay competitive.

Conclusion

SwapLance's job search feature is designed to connect you with the best jobs for your skills and interests. By understanding how to use this feature effectively, you'll increase your chances of winning contracts that align with your career goals.
