How to Contact Freelancers

Knowing how to effectively communicate with freelancers is crucial to the success of your projects on SwapLance. Here's a step-by-step guide to show you how:

1. Using Private Messages:

• To send a private message to a freelancer, visit their profile and click on the "Write Message" button.
• You can view all your dialogues by navigating to the «Private Messages» section. To do this, click on the letter icon in the site header.
• Remember, you can also attach files related to the project in these private messages. 

2. Through Freelancer's Contact Information:

• If a freelancer has provided their contact details in their profile, you can use this information to reach out to them directly.
• You'll find this information in the freelancer's profile block, under their photo. 

3. Via Order Comments:

• You can communicate with freelancers directly within the order. When you view the offers from freelancers on a specific order, you can reply to their message and start a dialogue right under their post.

• Note: This correspondence is usually visible to all SwapLance users.

4. Through the Work Progress Section:

• After confirming a freelancer for your project, a special section titled «Work Progress» becomes available.
• In this section, you can conduct private communication about your order, including sharing project-related files. 

Remember to document all key decisions and discussions in the «Work Progress» section. This provides transparency and convenience in the case of non-fulfillment of obligations by either party. If a disagreement arises, you can always refer to this documented communication during the arbitration process. 

Dealing with Communication Issues:

In case a freelancer is unresponsive or there's any other issue, you can turn to arbitration for dispute resolution. To do this:

• Click on the «Go to Arbitration» button in the Work Progress section.
• In the pop-up window, describe the reason for your appeal. 

Following these steps, a SwapLance representative will contact you to help resolve the issue.
