How to Search for Freelancers

Finding the right freelancer for your project is a crucial first step in your journey with SwapLance. We've built a powerful search function that makes this process as simple and efficient as possible. Here's how to use it.

Accessing the Freelancer Search

Log into your SwapLance account and navigate to the «Contractors» section. Here, you'll find all active freelancers who have chosen their main specialization. 

Understanding the Freelancer Card

Each freelancer has a profile card that includes important information: 

• Main specialty and skills
• Rating and reviews
• Hourly rate and minimum budget per order
• Portfolio
• User status (whether they're currently free or busy)
• Verification icon (if the freelancer has confirmed their identity) 

Using the Search Filters

You can narrow down your search results using the following filters:

• Specialization: Find freelancers who specialize in the service you need.
• Experience: Filter freelancers based on their years of experience in their specialty.
• Additional parameters: These include «without negative feedback», «free now», «verified», and more. 

Using the Search Bar

If you have specific keywords or terms in mind, enter them into the search bar for a more targeted search.

Exploring Freelancer Profiles

When you click on a freelancer's profile, you'll see more detailed information. On the left side of the profile, under the freelancer's photo, you'll find three options: 

• «Write Message»: This allows you to contact the freelancer through private messages on our site.
• «Suggest an Order»: Use this button to create an order specifically for this freelancer. They will receive a notification about your job offer.
• «Add to Favorites»: Clicking this will save the freelancer to your Favorites list for future reference. You can view your Favorites in your profile. 

You can also create a personal note in each freelancer's profile. This note is private and only visible to you. 

Reviewing Feedback

For more insight into a freelancer's performance, visit the «Opinions» section of their profile. Here, you'll find detailed reviews and ratings from previous clients.
