How to Set Up Your Client Account

Setting up your SwapLance client account is essential for a seamless experience on our platform. It not only increases your credibility but also enhances your accessibility to our vast pool of freelancers.

Accessing Your Settings

To set up your account, go to the «Settings» section of your profile. This section is divided into four areas: Common Settings, Verification, Notifications, Access, and Financials.

Common Settings

This is where you personalize your profile:

  1. Profile Picture: Upload a clear, professional photo or company logo.
  2. Name/Company Name: Add your name or your company's name.
  3. Username: Change your username if necessary.
  4. Contacts: Add various contacts such as email, phone number, instant messengers, and social networks. If you specify Telegram, you can receive all notifications through it.

Verification

In order to establish trust and receive the status of a verified client, you must upload a document that confirms your identity or your company's legitimacy.

Notifications

In this section, you can customize the types of notifications you receive from SwapLance. Choose what suits your preference best to stay updated without being overwhelmed.

Access

This section allows you to manage important security settings: 

  1. Change Password and Email: You can update your password and email for security reasons or personal preference.
  2. Associate Freelancer Account: If you're also a freelancer, you can associate your freelancer account with your client account here.
  3. Delete Account: If you no longer need the account, you can delete it from here. Be careful with this option as this action is irreversible.
  4. Social Network Accounts: Connect your Google, Facebook, or LinkedIn accounts for easy access to the SwapLance website.

Financials

This is where you handle the financial aspect of your account. You need to provide payment information that will be used when replenishing your account using an invoice or withdrawing funds. Following the instructions on the page to set up your preferred payment method(s).
